About The Game

Victorius, a Roman general famous for his wit and courage, falls in love with Caesar's daughter and wants to marry her. But it is not as easy as it seems! Caesar sends Victorius miles away to build a wide net of roads across the barbarian lands. Get ready and set out on your journey full of adventures right now! Each level has a small set of goals — to construct certain buildings, to explore new territories and to build the roads! You have to take notice of the instructions and spend your money, resources and time carefully to accomplish all given tasks. Found new towns, expand Roman influence and power! Once you get started, it is hard to stop!

This cute game was a lot of fun. The mechanics were simple to use, the graphics were more than adequate and it was challenging enough to fill a day or two. I completed it the first day, then went back and did the expert level the next. This game would be a good educational problem solving activity for older school age students. This was one of the few games I've bought after the one hour demo and was worth it, imho.

Haven't finished Roads of Rome yet, but I am enjoying a lot. It's constantly offering something new which is a pleasant change. Nice music, pretty graphics. You need to strategise to be able to complete the levels on expert mode, but if strategy isn't your thing, it's still easy to complete each level. Good game, 4 stars!
